Felice 2014 e ultimi regali - Happy 2014 and other Christmas gifts

ENGLISH VERSION  HERE

Ciao,

Piera

Ciao,
First of all best wishes for a Happy 2014, I hope you stay well, have serenity and strength to face the obstacles of life, because let's face it, unfortunately there will be, the important thing is to overcome them!

I am always running, I'm fighting with the health problems of my dad : nothing serious, age-related small things but so tedious!

When I find a bit ' of time to update my blog, I find my little boy at the computer: children are wonderful, they were born with the technology at their fingertips, in short time he will be better than me!

Now he is involved with the game received today from Befana , so I can take the opportunity to publish the latest Christmas gifts, those designed for those who know the blog and that I could not post before.

For the friend who has approached this year in the world of sewing I thought of a set consisting of : e drawstring bag for w.i.p., a pincushion and scissors holder :

The step of cutting the fabric was so simple with this check fabric and sewing this kit was very pleasant and relaxing : I did not have much time to complicate my life, this way it was really amusing!
Take notes, when you have little time, choose the check fabric: you'll save a lot of time in measuring and cutting!

For my little cousins (who are my age but always remain little cousins) I created these jewelry-bags: I really wanted to experience the linen fabric I purchased at Ikea and I must admit that I was not disappointed!
The open jewelry-bag is 30 cm in diameter, closed boils down to very little, perfect for vacation.

I wondered how this could hold all the jewels with this small size, so I tried to fill it with bulky jewelry I owned : eureka , it worked! The eight side compartments and the central compartment contain everything, not just earrings and rings!

I also sewed a beautiful scarf in cotton sateen for my dad but I forgot to take a photo, I will try to but I do not guarantee: daddy is very jealous of his things!

All for today , I will devote the next few weeks to create some garments and accessories to be sold in the next two showcases on facebook page  heARTmade Lab; I only want to say that I'm enjoying it a lot: the themes chosen are wonderful, fantasy runs!

xoxo
